I just opened the sheets yesterday and washed them, they do have a bad smell out of the package. After washing they smelled clean and wonderful. Put them on the bed last night, they felt cool and crisp, yet so soft! I never sleep well, always wake up sweating, tossing and turning, well last night I slept wonderfully! Husband said he slept great on them too! I also love that they actually stay put on the mattress, the elastic is sewn all around the entire fitted sheets. Loved them so much, I got up this morning and ordered another set! Not sure how they will hold up to washing and stains yet, but in love with these so far! They are definitely the best sheets we have ever owned, great price for split queen size sheets, hard to find split queen sheets to start with but to find such great quality sheets for this price, fabulous!
