I really wished they offered the white blanket in king size. I have a queen size bed and like the blanket to hang over the sides like it were a comforter. One side is fuzzy and the other a bit more tame. (The white is more of a cream color just in case you might be looking at the white queen size one - but because of that it doesn't show dirt easily yet still can be bleached). I don't need another blanket yet but I am buying this one in a slightly darker color because I am finding they are becoming more and more difficult to find. Overstock no longer sells them and other sites only have the crazy animal prints available.Pro: The blanket is heavy.Pro: It looks really nice on either side so you can think of it as reversiblePro: My Jack Russell Terrier makes "nests" every night with his claws on top of the bed. He could be thought of like the commercials of the knives slicing through the beer can sometimes as he has destroyed many sheets. This blanket is so well made that all his digging on it does no damage whatsoever. Its amazing.Con: The Soloran emblem is stamped right on the corner. As I said in another review I don't know why they do this. I have no desire to advertise who makes my bedding. But the blanket is just that good and worth it, I face the emblem on the wall side where it never really gets seen.Con: Its so thick I have to cram it into my washing machine but even doing that it washes beautifully. Gets softer each time but slightly less fuzzy. I noticed after two years of use and frequent washing that one of the hems is slightly coming loose off the side but again its nothing stopping me from buying another (and my dog might have done that anyway).Tip: just put the king blanket in there without worrying about it all getting wet and close the lid (it does not have to be completely submerged). When the spin cycle is finished restart the laundry load ... the heaviness of the blanket compacts on its own weight and then you will find it is manageable to wash.
