Not exactly sure what can go wrong with a flat sheet but this one has performed flawlessly. I would buy this brand again without hesitation!Majority of the time in stores, and online you have to buy sheets in sets (bottom & top).I wanted to buy just a the top sheet that was not thin and flimsy to keep my nice duvet cover protected from when my dog returns from her morning walks, with wet, and muddy paws.I know some perfer high count sheets that are very soft. Where I prefer the feel of cool crisp cotton sheets. Therefore, I would also buy this sheet as a set.This sheet is GREAT! It's smooth, soft and silky and wonderfulAt $10 to $20 cheaper than most of the lower priced flannel sheet sets, I wasn't looking for luxury. They fit well and have no defects I could see. Soft and comfortable.This is a very good sheet for the price. At a 300-thread-count it's not the softest sheet you'll find, but it's good, and the color is good also (and disguises the cat hair our felines seem to leave behind after they lie on the bed). We're actually using this flat sheet as a kind of blanket topper so that the cats CAN like on it and we can keep the blanket/other sheets hair-free. This sheet could be just a tad wider, and if it were I'd give it five stars.The thread count is perfect midway between breathable and durable. Have been using it nonstop for almost a year, with many washings, and it is as good as new. The fit is exactly as described.I have a king bed, not a California king and the top sheets are not wide or long enough. This sheet is perfect. I have already washed it and it came out perfect. It has a crisp feel to it. I am going to order another one to have as a spare.I wish you made a king fitted in the same fabric but I didn't see one. For the price this is one of the best I have ever purchased.Liked the fact you could buy a flat sheet and not a whole set, but this is skimpy and feels rough against the skin. Would not recommend.
