I am biased, as I love the Wild Beasts' music. This album feels like a good return to more intense music (I wasn't as impressed by the electronic sparseness of "Present Tense"). The band is still using electronics much more than they did on Smother or Two Dancers (or especially Limbo, Panto), and I wish they'd return to those pre-electronic roots a bit...in the meantime I will enjoy this.
