I haven't washed them, just put them on the bed and I love the look. The reason for the 3 stars is that there are no ties on the inside. Now I bought 2 one in green and one in navy. My one son's duvet is fine without the ties, but my other son wakes up every morning to his comforter slumped down to the bottom of the duvet. It just refuses to stay in all four corners. It could be because he moves all over the place during the night as my other son doesn't. They also have different down comforters. The one that stays in fine is much thicker and poofy. The one that refuses to stay in the corners is a lighter weight down. I am used to duvets having ties, so was confused when this one didn't. Also make sure your comforter or insert is white. We put a pillow in the sham with light grey writing all over the pillow and you can see it through the white stripe. I had to use a pillow cover. Not a huge problem, but something to know. I am going to look for some kind of product to keep his comforter attached to the corners of the inside of the duvet. Although I feel I shouldn't have to.Style matches Pottery Barn perfect, but the quality doesn’t. The material is very soft, but unfortunately appears fragile. Mine arrived with several loose threads. A blue thread was loose reaviling a white line in the middle of a blue band. I bought these for guest bedroom bunk beds, so it’s definitely not the durability I was seeking. The duvet doesn’t come with corner straps to secure the comforter, so that hinders usability and presentation. The button closure has a reverse fold to hide the buttons, which is nice. However, the buttons were poorly sewn on with loose threads on almost every one. Price point is great if you only want it for minimal use; otherwise, I’d recommend going with something that’s better quality.It is comfortable and doesn't get scratchy because of the blend, but the blue bled and left marks all over the white, even though I followed washing instructions. It looks like rub marks, actually...where the fabric rubbed together in the washer. Every single duvet button came loose in the wash, because the loose ends of thread weren't tied off. The white is pretty see thru after one wash. Probably ok for a guest room that doesn't get a ton of use, but I wouldn't recommend for daily use. Pillowcases do not have button closures, so you're constantly shoving the pillow back in.Great duvet cover. I was worried about the quality since I couldn't see it in person before receiving it, but the cover is a nice heavier-weight material. It does have the slightest sheen to it that you can't tell from the picture, but not enough to make me regret the purchase (I would have preferred no sheen). Overall I am very satisfied with this. I bought two different colors of this cover for two different bedrooms. One of my sons mentioned that he even noticed being warmer with this cover than his previous (with the same down comforter in both) since the material was a nicer weight.I had purchased this pattern from Pottery Barn in a queen for our new guest room, but changed my mind and wanted a king. Pottery Barn no longer had the King, so I searched online and took the chance on this duvet at a much lesser price. The only real difference besides being much less expensive was the stripes are a slightly different width. The color of yellow is exactly the same.I ordered this item in "size: king" but I received a full/queen. The item is titled correctly but the size is wrong. It seemed nice but I returned it because I needed a King Size duvet -- not a full sizeLove it!!! I almost bought a similar duvet cover from Pottery Batn Kids and so glad I decided to be frugal and go with this instead! It beautiful! The material is thin but that is okay. I have washed it several times and it is holdin up nicely.This is cute. Exactly the product I needed when I was thinking of a budget-friendly way of transforming my boys' basically brand new mountainous style comforters into a Bathing Sheds On the Beach sort of them. I cannot believe the quality for the price!
