I am pretty picky when it comes to sheets. I like them very soft, but also thin enough that I don't burn up under them. Usually the sheets I purchase are between $80 and $150 per set. The idea of buying $25 sheets worried me but they were at the top of Amazon's list for soft sheets, so I took a gamble. I am glad I did.I did read the description of the sheets so I knew I was not getting Egyptian sheets...honestly, I cannot believe anyone would buy sheets for $25 and think they were getting Egyptian Cotton. These folks are the ones the Made for TV guys must love. :)The sheets arrived well packaged both by Amazon and in nice manufacturing packaging. The sheets are nicely sized and fit well on my King mattress, even though it it very thick with pillow-tops on both sides and a 4" Memory Foam topper added to it. The fitted sheet has elastic all around it, rather then just on the corners. The top sheet and pillow cases are also of a great size. The pillow cases have the additional flap sewn into the end to hide the pillow and help keep it from coming out of the case...the flap is smaller than on some of my more expensive sheet sets, but works well with my pillows. The sheets were also mostly wrinkle-free from the package, which was nice.As far as comfort goes, these are honestly the softest sheets I have ever used. I've had 1100 thread count cotton sheets and, while they were soft, they were too thick and hot. These micro-fiber sheets manage to be softer and still very breathable. I cannot imagine anyone not being happy with their feel. The overall quality of the material and the sewing seems good. Only time will tell how long they will last but, at $25 a pop, if they only last for 2-3 months, they are worth it to me. I'll update the review in a month or so on the long term wear results.I am picking up 3 more sets today.***18 Month Update***Well, I am coming back a little later than I originally stated in my review, but I wanted to let everyone know how these sheets hold up in the long term. After 1 and a half years, every set I purchased is still going strong. I still have and use the original 5 sets I purchased (2 initially and 3 more around the same time I wrote the review).Every comment I made in the original review still holds true after more than 18 months. Other than the dark blue sheets fading a little in their initial wash, all sheets are still going strong. I change my sheets every 3-7 days so each set has been through 15-20 washes and regular use in between. They are as soft and comfortable now as they were when I removed them from the packaging. The sheets have not pilled, the stitching is still holding up and the colors (other than the minor initial fade on the blue) are still strong. In addition to daily human use, I have two small dogs (a Shih Tzu and a Westie) that sleep in the bed nightly, regularly rolling around and scratching the bed and the sheets have yet to tear or really show signs of much use at all.I am still amazed at the quality you get for $25 (now $27) dollars. Worth it at twice the price when I compare them to some of the much more expensive sheets that were not as comfortable and many of which did not hold up nearly as well as these have. Originally, I said they would be worth it if you had to replace them every 2-3 months and it is clear that they'll last much longer than that.Still one of the best buys I've made on Amazon. Anyone who passes them up simply because they are cheap or they are not Egyptian cotton does not know what they are missing.
