I love this, its soft and PLUSH AF but it is, in no way, velvet ?? this is a microplush. The kind of blanket you get at Costco but one sided and a sheet. Super thick and totally awesome just not what I was looking for exactly because I wanted VELVET. I use my bed as a couch in my tiny house because of the storage under and the deep seating it provides as well as a space for napping lol. I still can't find anything that actually would work for how I use it so gonna have to make it! So if you're looking for stretch velvet cover, this isn't it. But if you want a plush soft cozy cover this is it!I love it and I'm keeping it because it's still really nice, but definitely not velvet as described so I knocked off a star for that.
